Eric Leibowitz is an accomplished litigator with years of experience in intellectual property and commercial disputes. He has represented clients in high-stakes patent litigations involving the technology and pharmaceutical industries, as well as trademark and licensing litigations for clients in the entertainment industry. His broad range of experience also includes risk assessments, counseling, and due diligence in connection with corporate transactions such as mergers and acquisitions and bank acquisition financings.
Previously, Mr. Leibowitz was an associate in the Intellectual Property/Litigation section of White & Case LLP. Some of Mr. Leibowitz's more notable engagements at White & Case included representation of Novartis and Pfizer in Hatch-Waxman patent litigation, representation of Marvell Semiconductor Inc. in an industry-wide patent dispute over wireless technology in the Eastern District of Texas, and advising the governing branch of a sovereign nation in the Middle East on its rights and liabilities in connection with various contractual commitments.
Mr. Leibowitz received his J.D. from Brooklyn Law School, where he graduated magna cum laude . He earned his B.A degree in Biology & Society from Cornell University.
