Elevar is developing technology that delays the ripening of certain fresh fruit, vegetables and cut flowers. The technology has been tested at room temperature with bananas, peaches, avocados and a variety of cut flower species. All produce exposed to the catalyst displayed significant delays in fruit ripening and flower senescence.

The Company has five prescription products under various stages of development, all of which are protected by issued patents and pending applications. OPC's lead prescription product for the treatment of aphthous ulcers (otherwise known as canker sores) has successfully advanced through two Phase II clinical trials.
