Bloodstone Ventures is led by a team of seasoned life sciences managers and scientists who have worked throughout the full product life cycle from R&D to manufacturing to commercialization. Each member of the management team has complementary backgrounds in science, medicine, business, and finance, and has founded and/or worked for start-up companies in the life sciences sector.

Additionally, members of the BV team have run a technology transfer office for a mid-size research institution and are well-acquainted with the challenges and needs that are endemic to the majority of technology transfer offices.

Our ambition is to build a leading early stage investment firm in close association with targeted universities, one that is exclusively dedicated to the successful commercial development of cutting-edge research in North America thereby creating value for our shareholders: from university to commercialization.
